It's time to come clean. The Tony Pay we know and love on this list is
not actually the renowned clarinettist -- all the posts written in his
name are actually created by a collective of plumbers from Orpington.

Members of the list who claim to have met him have simply been co-opted
into the hoax with the promise of getting their pipes fixed for free.

Meanwhile, the _real_ Tony lives in an underground lair in a dormant
volcano on an island in the South Pacific, from whence he ventures forth
to concerts in a high-tech yacht or private jet.

His connection with the plumbers isn't clear, but the volcano does have
very nice fitted bathrooms.
