Dear Mr. Pay,

I am sorry that I said that you should call Dan Leeson on the extra
klarinet footers and quoted messages. He hardly had any posts and the
post I was looking at only had a couple extra footers. I jumped to my
conclusion. Looking at the latest clarinet postings, the only
conversation I can see that had this problem was perhaps the one that
concerned mysterious mountain. Yet, I kept Dan Leeson's first message
for the woolgathering reference; a new word for me. The conversation
with Bill Hausmann, Gary van Cott et al. may have gotten a bit out of
hand.

Your hoo-hoo post is apt. It fit the theme of the conversation; Don
Gross asks straight-forwardly that I introduce myself; I ask who he is
in a tiny message; you say Who I? Who you? hoo-hoo in another tiny
message. Really following lucidity principles; keeping the overall
pattern like the underlying pattern; small, with little substance, and
following the who theme. ..but so small that I lost them in the din.
Ostensibly not substantive, they encompass a compact joke. and an
appropriate reply to an insubstantive question. I am sorry that I
didn't realize that.

I will try to think about the quoted messages in my posts and edit
more carefully. It would be nice if everyone else would also trim
extra quoted messages and footers.
