Adding vodka will increase the disinfectant quality, and would be tasty.

Seriously, lemon juice is acidic like vinegar (which is why it dissolves the
calcium). For reasons I don't understand, when I soaked a clarinet
mouthpiece in lemon juice the mouthpiece patch came loose - a problem I
didn't have with vinegar. YMMV.
