For the record, I just cleaned my tenor sax mouthpiece with a shot glass of
lemon juice. I soaked the tip for 5 minutes, which got about 90% of the
crud. I stuck it in for another 5 and it was done. I have a clarinet
mouthpiece in now. It seems to work well, and smells better than vinegar.
