Joe, isn't this what IMSLP does? There are all sorts of contributors to
that, and they do the copyright checking (pace all your very good
arguments...).

See, that's kind of what I'm getting at. Having the parts available is
great -- but having the score and parts together, available from the
same place, is better. That's why I suggest creating a "community
space", which celebrates and encourages the contributions of others,
rather than "my website", which is kind of exclusive.
