Subj: [kl] Seeking Triebert Trademarks
Date: Tue, 07 Sep 2010 06:44:25 -0400

Hello all,

For a project I am doing on the woodwinds of Triebert, I seek to collect as
many Triebert trademarks as possible. At least 250 Triebert instruments are
extant; I have marks from about 40 of them. I am as interested in those
from the modern era (after the Gautrot and Couesnon purchases) as I am in
those from the actual working years of Guillaume and Fr=E9d=E9ric. I need a
snapshot of the entire instrument and another, as large as possible, of the
trademark.

I will thank you for your efforts with acknowledgement in the published
paper, which is expected in 2012; and by dating the instrument for you
within a relatively narrow range of years.

If your Triebert instrument is published in Larigot with trademark, then
thank you, I have it already.

And I thank you all for your help with my efforts to correspond with the
gentleman in Amsterdam. I found the instrument "which is of great interest
to me" in a French museum, and they have the mark posted at their website.
The internet can be a wonderful tool!

Cheers,

Robert Howe
