Dear List,
Just a clarification; Mr. Niehaus is very much still alive. He is a
wonderful, nice man. I had the opportunity to record a TV mini-series for him.

Lennie Niehaus was a great Jazz saxophonist and arranger. He played with
the Stan Kenton band in the 50's. There are many sax quartets available
from the University of NC, if I remember correctly. Anything that he
arranged or composed would be very fine works.
