I ask because, IIRC, the edition that Tony discovered the "editions" to
the clarinet part in was the old Warner Brothers edition (which I also
have); I'd always assumed that this _was_ the first edition, or at least
that it had not been edited since first publication.

.... which always made me wonder about _where_ the modifications that
Tony discovered came from -- e.g. whether the clarinet part had been
engraved from a player's copy rather than from the score, or whether
someone did actually fiddle with it prior to a re-printing.
