This social environment is starting to feel very "professional" indeed.
It is a good point that footers contain valuable information, that can
be accessed by reading.
It would be nicer if the list-serve had an automatic way of
subscribing and unsubscribing without transferring to a different gui.
I remember in the old days we would do something like send a blank
message to the list with subscribe or unsubscribe in the subject line.
Does this still work? Is it possible to find directions for that?
