Oh, I'd like to add, looking at the recap. it appears it would be an F#
after all. when it happens the second time the notes are E D C B and
(assuming the two sections are meant to be the same) that would mean
the B would be flat if an F natural was intended. However, I am still
curious if anyone else plays it as F natural? or if anyone knows if I
really did hear an F natural?

Thanks again

Subject: [kl] Mozart Clarinet Concerto Question.

I had a question about what the correct note to play in measure 108 is.
on beat 2 the 16th notes are B, A, G, F (#). (at least in my 3
scores) The F# is the note in question. I heard a recording by Martin
Frost on youtube and it sounds to me like he is playing an F natural
(at least those 16th notes took me be surprise and sounded very
different but maybe I'm mistaken). I know its only one note but, in my
opinion, it changes the overall sound of that whole passage. Judging
by the two measure following measure 108 it looks like it should be an
F natural, but I always have played it as an F# and most recordings
play an F#.

Thank-you
