Hi all,

our county youth orchestra will be playing Rachmaninov 2 this coming year.
The bass part for this is all in bass clef, with three of the four
movements scored for bass in A. As the clarinet tutor it will be up to me to
produce a part that a secondary/high school student can manage on a Bb bass.

So before I resort to bashing through 12 pages-worth of transposition to
produce a treble clef Bb version; does anyone (Keith Bowen et al) have one
already done? I don't have an eligible daughter to offer, but do have some
other bits of orchestral transposition that might be of interest.

I would also like to offer a (hopefully pre-emptive) apology in case this
causes another month of lengthy essays on copyright law. Sorry.

Kindest regards,

Paul Kenward
