I have a Leblanc low C instrument for sale. It is one of the first
Low C instruments they made back in the 1970s. The low range is
beyond beautiful. The high range is powerful - not wimpy like some
instruments. Tunes well. Not quite a Buffet Prestige, but only $3500!
It will do great as a first pro horn (it did for me). If you get
really serious later, you can go into hock for a Prestige. ;-)

You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note.

Hello all,
I am in the market for a bass clarinet for use in orchestral music so
I need one that goes to low C. If anyone is interested in selling one
or knows of one for sale, please let me know off list. I need a
professional level model, not a student model. I am interested in the
Buffet 1193 or something equivalent.
Thanks,
