Please don't quit. =A0Many on this list share your opinion but don't have t=
he guts to state certain opinions for fear of being flamed as you just were=
. =A0I played oboe parts on C clarinet in concert bands when an oboe player=
was not available. =A0I play clarinet and oboe music on soprano sax and th=
ere is a recording of the Mozart Quintet with the clarinet part played conv=
incingly on alto sax. There is a recording of the Beethoven Violin Concerto=
performed on clarinet. That last post was authoritarian, rude and stupid. =
=A0Besides, if you only played C clarinet for C clarinet music there isn't =
really much solo music to play.
