Oh, one other thing. It says "copying is not theft", not "copying is
not copyright infringement". :-)

Copying really _isn't_ theft. That's why there are "fair use"
provisions in copyright law that explicitly permit certain kinds of
copying regardless of the wishes of the author. It's not possible to
imagine similar "fair use" permissions for taking someone's physical
property without their say-so.
