I'd like to add here that David Loeb's solo bass pieces are
outstanding--beautifully idiomatic, modern expressionistic works.
The first sonata is the simplest to play; 2-5 require mastery of the
altissimo, but are probably within the capabilities of many advanced college
players. Bok's performance is a knockout, and the ability to print your
music from the CD is something more publishers should offer.

A treat to find new music by a composer who understands the clarinet so well.
