Hi guys,
Thank you for that warm welcome! Here are some of the transcriptions we
talked about sharing last week. There are 3 by Buddy DeFranco, 3 by Bill
Smith and 2 bulgarian dances by Petko Radev and Ivo Papasov. I wrote all o=
f
them except for the last one, Ivailovsko Horo, which I only edited in Final=
e
and revised the ornaments from the recording. I got that one from Eric=B4s
Music Database at http://physiome.org/~butterw/emdb/score.html?EB1328, a
good source for info on balkan music. To any of you interested, I also
highly recommend Michael Rowlett's doctorate treatise "The clarinet in
Bulgarian Wedding Music: An investigarion of the relationship between
musical style and concepts of ethnicity. availabe at:

University Microfilms Publication Number AAT 3028482. I do have some
Klezmer sheet music in PDF downloaded from the net, but I'm not sure if
they're trustworthy. Anyway, hope you enjoy!
