Although I neglected to make the point that classical musicians are far less likely to have beer bottles and loud abuse hurled at them!

A thought, in the age of the IPOD, is live performance either dead, or in the last throes? What about music in the round? I have been to a few intimate piano recitals where we sat in the choir stalls. That way, no one is miles and miles from the stage. Just like Lang Park, great seats all round.... But then, I am speaking from a Brisbane, Queensland point of view (and one-eyed passionate Broncos supporter)
