The discussion, and the caveats about the wisdom of making overt
protest, reminded me of a very sad story I heard about a couple of years
ago, discussed in detail here:

It's sad to say that being known for having made any kind of legal fuss,
even when completely justified, seems to be a good way to make sure you
never get hired again ... :-(
