Subj: [kl] The first all clarinet players dinner
Date: Wed, 09 Jun 2010 15:20:16 -0400

I'm downsizing and that involves throwing out seme 60 years of programs that I played or attended, or were given. AFter a certain age, these things down much matter any longer.

But I did find and note the menu for the an all clarinet player's dinner I had in my home in New Jersey in 1972. Thought you might find it interesting. I was, at that time, a very good cook, and so I made a variety of special dishes and named them all after famous clarinet players.

It was a terrific dinner. After we ate, the five of us played Mozart string quintets.
