That said, (and for the benefit of people writing for clarinet choir), your
music is more likely to be played without unusual instrumentation or true
one-on-a-part divisi. Many groups find it challenging to come up with two
E-flat clarinetists who play in tune, divisi altos, or bass, and have some
members who are best as "section players" rather than soloists.Check my
clarinet choir column in The Clarinet for examples of some examples of such
pieces.
