Hello, Everyone.

I grew up in a Navy family, moving often all over the US and Europe. On
3 different occasions EACH, I've lived: in Arizona, near Washington D.C.
(near where I was born), and in Los Angeles Metropolitan. I was in the
Phoenix Area when I finished high school in 1970 and took 5 years at Arizona
State University, where I'd see Mrs. Louise Kerr (1892-1977) at a few
concerts. She was also of friend of Mr. Ronald Lo Presti, who was my first
Composition Professor, and is still the biggest influence on my music.
Sometimes Mrs. Kerr would be playing Viola in the orchestra, even though she
was old then.

I've lived in Munich and Los Angeles since the Late 1970's, and moved
back to the Phoenix Area in the Early 1990's, where I took my Master's back
at ASU in the Mid-1990's. One vague acquaintance in one class that I took
then, was Violist, Conductor, Composer Carolyn Broe, who has since become a
good friend and completed her doctorate. (Dr. Broe has since even conducted,
recorded and performed a number of my works.)

Dr. Carolyn Broe is likely the world's biggest Fan of the music of
Louise 'Lincoln' Kerr, and is also an Expert (maybe the best in the world)
on Mrs. Kerr's music. I was surprised to hear that Mrs. Kerr composed Over
2,000 works! Dr. Broe is pushing to get many of them performed and recorded.
I'd suggest writing to Dr. Broe about advice on the History and Style of
Writing of Mrs. Louise 'Lincoln' Kerr. Besides, Dr. Broe's husband is a
Clarinetist, usually playing Bass Clarinet, so I wouldn't be surprised if
they knew the Trio that you will be playing.
