I know nothing about Jerry Adler, so this must suffice: SOMEone may have
played "My Funny Valentine" as gloriously as Larry Adler himself but I
haven't heard him (or her) yet. Oh...just for the record(?), Larry died
in 2001. He did okay for a young man dismissed by Borah Minevich (that's
a real name) with the verbal slap "Kid, you stink." Anyone remember The
Harmonica Rascals these days?
