Hi

For those interested, my Duets for One concert was a huge success, and very=
well received by the audience. I was hoping this might inspire clarinettis=
ts to be inventive with their programs. I like to theme my concerts, last y=
ear I performed An Afternoon at the Opera, with opera fantasias based on Ro=
ssini, Rigoletto and La Traviata, along with a Donizetti Concertino (being =
an opera composer), and the organist played fantasias on the organ, the Wag=
ner still gives me goose bumps! I also presented an afternoon of Clarinet S=
woon, my favourite slow movements, again well received.

The possibilities are endless, composer birthdays, national days, eg. Indep=
endence Day with American composers, Bastille Day with French Composers. I=
'm hoping to present More Duets for One later in the year, if I can find a =
church free.=20
