would be helpful.
How do these 14 publications match or differ? Orchestra librarians
often have trouble finding the version that matches the soloist part.
These seem to be different works? 3 Different titles?

The works are not (yet) published in the collected edition of Rossini.

From DD - Here's what I have on the above-mentioned version:
INTRODUCTION is an Andante in 6/8, E-flat major -- 52 bars of very
florid solo writing, cadencing in Eb.
THEMA -- "common" time, B-flat major, 25 bars. No tempo mark (but
clearly faster) Var I - perpetual motion triplets for the solo, binary
form, both halves repeated; a 5-bar forte interlude for the band while
soloist rests.
Var II - predominantly 16th-notes; same formal scheme, with interlude
at the end.
Var III - arpeggios and chromatic scales; same format with interlude
Minore -- Largo, Bb minor. 16 bars of clarinet (no repeats), 5 bar
interlude.
Maggiore -- Bb major again, fast. Scales, arpeggios, etc. Return to
the binary format followed by a coda with solo-tutti exchanges, a
brief cadenza-like passage and tutti ending.
VERY conventional show-off variations in the ubiquitous 19th-century style.
