Ben

In the list that Michael Drapkin kindly sent me (for my thesis on the bass
clarinet in A)of the repertoire including in his forthcoming book of
transpositions for the bass in A, he included Gurre Lieder and Pelleas &
Melisande, but not Kammersymphonie. Nor did I come across a transposed part.
So (unless Michael added this to his list later) I think your only hope is
an individual who has done it personally.

I have a client that is doing the Chamber Symphony Op. 9 of Schoenberg. The
D clarinet part shouldn't be too much of an issue, but the bass in A part is
really tough. They were wondering if anybody may have a transposed part for
it. The performance is coming up relatively soon so there is an element of
time involved as well.

Is there anybody out there in Klarinet-land that would be able help out with
a transposed bass part?

Thanks!
