Remove the screw and look at the threads. If they're rounded or worn
down, that's the problem. Take a screw from another ligature, or go
to a repair shop, where they usually have a drawer full of junker
ligatures. You can probably get a replacement free, or for next to
nothing. If nothing else fits, you can buy a new Bonade, just for the
screws.

For an emergency fix, switch the two screws.

A bit of beeswax on the threads will also increase the friction slightly.
