On a suggestion from one of the Klarinet readers, I'm going to ask my
son what he thinks and see if he answers. He's pretty well qualified -
product of American music schools (Interlochen Arts Academy, CIM) and
Japanese (Gedai University in Tokyo), along with conducting & teaching
in Japan.

He did a quick look at the youtube just now. His initial comment:
"The least the teacher could have done was conducted without a score." :D

He'll see later if he can add to the conversation.
