Let me offer one quick caution about using your laptop to hold paper
music. Take a little care not to cover the keyboard with paper. For
many laptops, the airflow is such that they dissipate heat through their
keyboard. If that path is completely blocked, it can be unhealthy.

On the other hand, if you turn the laptop off first, that's not a problem...
