2010 - a new decade has arrived, and Woodwind.Org is still running!
Somehow or other we've gone through another year.

It costs a fair sum every year to keep this going; connection costs
alone run $300/mo, and upkeep, repairs, etc. are ongoing all the time.
Everything has to be running 24x7, and I try & make sure that nothing
whatsoever will ever get lost due to equipment failures. 2009 has been
pretty brutal financially for many of us - in my "day job" I work for
the car manufacturer that didn't receive any bailout money - but in
order to survive, those of us remaining in the industry have taken
significant hits, as those of you in your industries certainly have.
Students are having to come up with more money for tuition and room and
board. But, unfortunately, the bills haven't stopped. Last year we had
265 donors - even though it was a bleak year for many - so I'm really
hoping we can maintain this level of response even though things are
