This is certainly interesting!! I looked at my copy (Schott 1955) of
the clarinet part and note that measure 2 (second) has a triplet
g-a-c followed by a dotted half note e, whereas measure 64 (next to
last) has a dotted half note e followed by a triplet D-C-A. In other
words, the triplet part of this measure does NOT follow the backwards
rule. Could this be a major misprint? I do not have the other parts
or the score to check, and did not put in the time to check the rest
of the clarinet part.
