Antonio,
I congratulate you on your good luck with Pomarico mouthpieces.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing. I recently tried to match
a mouthpiece designed by the late Jerry Hall, and made by Pomarico. I
ordered a total of 7 of the same (supposed) facing. They were so
uneven in measurements that they could just as easily have been 7
different facings!
Unfortunately, here in the US, you can't expect a store to have a
dozen of them on hand (and no mail order companies had, or would let
me order, more than 4 at one time), so finding a good one would be
quite a challenge! I hope that they have remedied this horrendous
lack of quality control. Unfortunately, none of them was close enough
to Jerry's measurements for me to use, although that may not have
been Pomarico's fault - Jerry's facing may have been quite unusual.
