I've used Belwin, Rubank and Klose . . . in addition to any school music
book(s) the student's band teacher is using (the student supplies that
book). Klose is my personal favorite -- I generally suggest the complete book
because that will last the student forever, and it has the best fingering
chart anyone could want. I've also used the Rubank duet books that the kids
like playing a lot.
