i am fully aware of the dangers with composers just copying multiphonic =
fingerings out of a book,
BUT
i just met with a composer who brought along the Phillip Rehfeldt New =
Directions for Clarinet book and was surprised that almost *all* of the =
bass clarinet multiphonics sounded off by a step or more from what was =
notated. it made me think that they were tested on a different model of =
BC ( i have a Buffet Prestige w/ Low C ) -- maybe something to do with =
the secondary register key hole?

anybody know more about this?
