And...the Met Orchestra has negotiated a media contract that deals with all types of media use, which I believe is about
an additional $28,000 per year in salary....

We'll be doing the same thing in Dallas, with the opera during the next contract negotiation.

Yes the Met thing is really not at all the same. It's purpose is to earn
money by getting in an audience that could not or would not travel to NYC.
Afterall, it's cost prohibitive to attend the Met if you live in Denver nor
even Michigan.
