Subject: [kl] Interesting C clarinet part
I consulted with Jerome Simas who is playing Principal Clarinet with the SF
Opera right now and he verified that the 2nd clarinet part (in C) in Othello
does have a written low C. This is what Jerry writes:
"found it in Act III, fourth bar before the second letter S (the
rehearsal numbers go A-Z two times?. I checked my score and it does not
appear to be a misprint in the actual clarinet part."
The parts are by Ricordi.
