Go for it Bill....it could/might help a lot of folks!!

I've never observed a brass player(s) (who I know), say anything good about the technique....but taking a good look at
these sorts of things is always a good idea. Having well grounded studies available, can save people a lot of time.
People are always looking for the magic solution...and in that search....waste a lot of time. :-)

Subject: [kl] Donald S. Reinhardt's Pivot System

Does anyone on this use portions of the Reinhardt Pivot System in
teaching clarinet, saxophone and/or flute ?

I have been using this for years with great success but I have never
seen anything in writing about adopting this brass technique for
woodwinds. If any of you use it, have you seen anything in writing
about it other than for brass instruments ? The reason I am asking is
that this might be an interesting and informative topic for me to
write a paper about.

Thanks in advance for your input.
