Also how low it can play compared to other instruments of the same
length! If there are any science-geeky kids in the class, they would
probably be interested in why. The coolest thing I did in high school
was one class in grade 9 science when we were talking about waves &
the teacher got out an oscilloscope, invited us all to talk, sing, or
play our instruments, then we talked about the patterns & what they
meant - it was interesting to compare the flute & clarinet waves.
