After a week of work, with considerable help from Don Gross, I can
reasonably conclude that he and I are not related.

Cecil Leeson was a very well known and expert saxophonist whose bio can be
looked up on the web.

His father was born in Ireland, came to Canada, and then to the US, settling
in the North Dakota city of Cando some 50 miles south of the Canadian
border. Cecil Leeson was born in that town and stayed there until the
family to Arizona.

This background is so different from mine that the likelihood of us being
related is very, very small.

I had intend to go to Vermillion, SD and visit the instrument museum because
they have a great deal of his correspondence, given to them by Ball State
where Cecil was living when he died ca. 1987.

Too bad, I would have liked it is he and I were related.
