Deborah - What I have a done for chamber music concerts is use =20
arrangements of Piazzolla pieces for vln, vcl and piano and transcribe =20=

the vcl part for clarinet.
If you are close to a library with, for example, the Jos=E9 Bragato vln/=20=

vcl/pno arrangements of Piazzolla pieces, you can transcribe the cello =20=

part and the others can read the normal parts.
In my experience the scoring and blend is better if the cl plays the =20
cello part. If you there were no violinist you could transcribe the =20
violin part and play it with vcl and pno but I have found this to be =20
less idiomatic and convincing than when the cl takes the vcl part.
I often play Bragato's arrangement of Oblivion (for vln/vcl/pno), =20
playing the cello part (changing octaves where appropriate) and this =20
particular arrangement works wonderfully for vln/cl/pno.
