In all fairness, I have heard some very good accordion playing in the
past. I went to a concert once by a guy who was, believe it or not,
PROFESSOR of accordion at some university. He played various styles
of music, from a Bach Two-Part Invention on up, on various button
boxes, piano accordions, etc. He had a Russian-made accordion that
had quite beautiful and varied sound. I was pleasantly surprised by
the whole thing.
