The American Chamber Ensemble Presents Annual Gala Music Party on
October 4 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York

The American Chamber Ensemble will present its Gala Annual Music Party
on Sunday, October 4 at 3 PM at the New Academic Building (south campus
- just west of the John Cranford Adams Playhouse) of Hofstra University
in Hempstead, New York.

Performers will include guest clarinetist Stanley Drucker (celebrating
his 60 years with the New York Philharmonic), sopranos Karen Lehman and
Tammy Hensrud and the ACE Clarinet Ensemble, who will join pianist
Blanche Abram and clarinetist Naomi Drucker in a program of informal
music making that will preview the upcoming season.

This concert is presented as part of Daniel Pearl World Music Days.

Admission to the Gala Annual Music Party is by contribution only.

The American Chamber Ensemble explores the great chamber music

Treasures, featuring core members of ACE performing works by George
Kleinsinger, Virgil Thomson, Daniel Gregory Mason, Elliott Carter,
Douglas Moore and Gary Schocker, with Guest Artist Stanley Drucker and
The American Chamber Ensemble Plays Peter Schickele, which features five
of this modern master’s most important chamber works.

ACE concerts are assisted with public funds from the New York State
Council on the Arts, a state agency, and private contributions.
