Let's skip the generalized advice and do what 75% of professional
musicians do -- go to a doctor who treats musicians, explain your
problem and get a prescription for a beta blocker.

I've been on a modern beta blocker for heart palpitations for several
years, and the effect on eliminating performance nerves has been
magical.
