The book, "gran Partitta" is most easily purchased from the publisher. It
is also the lowest cost, too. If you buy it from Amazon.com or any other
online seller, the price is about 45% higher.

There is a toll free number to the publisher. It is 888-519-5121. You can
also call directly from Europe without any additional phone fees. I know
this to be the case for the UK, but I have not heard of anyone from France
or Germany using the 888 number. They generally get a copy of Amazon.com.

the search box..

So far, the book is selling very nicely and I am getting good reports, but
no reviews. Reviews from the big houses such as Music & Letters, 18th
Century Music, etc. can take up to 3 years, which was the case for my
previous book, "The Mozart Cache." M&Ls expect to have that review in the
November 2009 even though it was sent to them in mid 2006. And one has to be
very grateful to get a book reviewed anywhere.

I did hear from a German organization that specializes in wind music and
they will produce a review for Mitteilungsblatt of IGEB, with the review to
be done by Dr. Bernhard Habla, Pannonische Forschungsstelle Oberschützen,
des Instituts 12 (Oberschützen) der Kunstuniversität Graz in Austria.

My earliest book, the novel, "The Mozart Forgeries," which is a fiction
about the rediscovery of the manuscripts of the Mozart clarinet concerto and
the clarinet quintet keeps getting orders and that is now 5 years old. I
originally hoped that every clarinet player in the world would have a copy.
Even though it is fiction, the facts of the historical original of K. 622
are correctly given, to the extent that that information is available.
