Dear Alan,

I've been playing bass and contra bass clarinet as needed in two
community bands and last year went back to playing first clarinet and
striving to improve all the time. I just started taking lessons this
summer and last year bought a Clark Fobes San Francisco CF mouth piece
which thought improved my tone significantly. I had been using an old
buffet and a Van Doren B45. I don't like the varying degrees of
inaccuracy in the intonation of various notes with my Boosey Hawks. I
bought a Schreiber 6025 this past Friday from my local wood wind repair
person. I like the sound and feel of it but I paid too much for it. I
thought that I was getting the new Aura model. I'm bringing it back and
thinking of getting a Ridenouer Lyrique.
