That's exactly what he did for my A basset clarinet joint. I had it on a
Leblanc Concerto originally, then when I got Wurlitzers he modified it =
to
fit that (tenon joint mod and some tuning adjustments). A friend also =
used
it on a Buffet (RC I think). It worked very well on all of them. When I =
get
home next week, I can send you pictures of it if you like, with the
arrangement of thumb keys.

instrument backlog and so on. I'm thinking to try and duplicate the =
layout
of my low C Buffet bass little-finger/RH thumb keys, for ease of =
transfer of
technique. Very interesting to hear about everyone's individual =
solutions to
this! And great that there are now so many options to consider (Tom
Ridenour, Steve Fox, Lohff & Pfeiffer). Vive la bassette!
