Subj: [kl] sax question for repair techs on the list
Date: Tue, 21 Jul 2009 21:16:25 -0400

his is a sax-oriented question to all the repair techs on the Klarinet list:

My Selmer Mk VI tenor keeps leaking water on my LH stack.
I have had the pads checked and they are all tight. Some years back, the ring at the top of the tenor which tightens the neck came off, and was soldered back on. The water leakage came back recently.

I tried a neck that fit very tightly, and the water did not come. I wonder if my neck fails to fit tightly---I can tighten it up in playing position.

Is there anything that can be done about this? The constant wetness on my left hand is making a negative effect on my technique. I need help!

Nothing wrong with my clarinex! Thanks in advance.
