Hello,

I have just received (a new issue) of some flute music that was printed
in Russia. It is arrangements of 3 Debussy pieces. I have been able to
identify the first (Romance) and last piece (titled Wonderful Evening
in English which appears to be "Beau Soir" usually translated as
Beautiful Evening). Based on what I found on the internet, I believe
both of these pieces are from the Debussy vocal repertoire.

However, I am stumped by the middle piece which is titled with the
single word "FAUN" but is not the familiar Prelude to the Afternoon of a
Faun. It is in 3/4 time. It starts with a high F half note followed by a
descending 10-tuplet. Another characteristic of the piece is 3 to 5 note
descending 32nd notes that occur 6 times staring in the middle of the
piece. The flute part is one page long.

Any idea what this might be?

Thanks,

Gary
