Dan,
Thanks for the compliment. The nice thing about it is that the
'cello and piano parts are, for a change, not harder than the
clarinet part, unlike too many trios (Brahms and Beethoven come to
mind). He's also written a quartet with the Messaien (sp?)
instrumentation. I haven't played that yet. He told me that he has in
mind a clarinet quintet. I'll let everyone know about that one if it
happens.
