Dear Mr. Hardin,

Your order is being processed. Permit me to make you aware of two small but
important points.

First, the reed will arrive individually packaged in a small, plastic box.
This is our original Japanese package. On the outside of the box will be a
sticker with a strength number indicated that's different from "F" number of
the reed that you ordered. Do not be alarmed. The number on the box is our
original numbering system based on the numeral 3. At
www.forestone-japan.com, on the page titled "Tips & tricks," under "Tip #4,"
you can check out how the old numbers relate to the new. Very shortly, we
will be introducing a new package with the correct "F" numbers printed on
the outside.

Similarly, we will soon have the strength indicated on the reed itself.
Right now, the only way to tell the reeds apart is by their colour and tiny
raised bars on the bottom right edge of the reed at the stock. Three raised
bars indicate an F3 or an F4 (with the former being lighter in colour), two
raised bars indicate an F3 1/4 or an F4
1/4 (with the former being lighter in colour) and no raised bars indicate an
F3 1/2 or an F4 1/2 (with the former being lighter in colour). You can see
these colour variations quite clearly on the order page at
www.forestone-japan.com.

We apologize for any confusion this may cause. Thank you for your
indulgence.

Kind regards,
Lars Heuseler, marketing director
