Hello everyone,

I know this question was already someone addressed (regarding College Choir=
vs. Festival Choir), but could someone tell me which entails a "higher" le=
vel of playing? I know its somewhat of a subjective question, so I hope it=
doesn't bring on a discussion! Thank you in advance!=20

Fernando,

Is there anyway I can listen to a recording of it?

Hi Josh.
No it is not published.
For the truth, it is one piece of XIX century for Eb clarinet and wind band=
.
It is called "Requinta Concertante" wrote by Tranquilino Bastos (Brazilian
composer). The title means "Eb clarinet on concert".
It is a very interesting piece: theme and variations on a XIX century stile=
.

All the best,

Fernando

Hi Oliver.
You are right.
Any other people that want to play with a choir should go to the Festival
Choir.
I will be attending that year`s ClarinetFest (I will play a concert for Eb
clarinet and wind band) and would like to meet some of you there; maybe we
can organize a meeting to eat the Portugal main dish: codfish.

All the best,

Fernando Jos=E9 Silveira

Hi Juanfran,

My first time was two years ago in Vancouver.=A0 My impression is that
everyone can get into the Festival Choir.=A0 That's what I checked and
we sorted ourselves out during the first rehearsal.=A0 The College
Choir is reserved for college and university students, as I
recall.=A0 Correct me, someone, if I'm wrong.
